I remember the way your eyes would light up at the sight of me I remember how safe I felt with your arms around me I remember the way your voice would send shivers down my spine Even now, at the mere thought of having you close, the butterflies invade my entire body. It's not as if you're gone forever, because I remember. I remember it all, the image still clear in my mind I wish it weren't true With all my heart and soul, I wish you would just open your eyes and see me as once you did Realize what you still have right in front of you and how what we have, had, was so special. |
