A Wish For The Impossible

Fare father from above,
Please send someone down for me to love.
Kind and gentle, caring to,
Who's not afraid of saying I love you!
Nevertheless, make me the only girl he can see.
Defenatly always right there beside me.
Have him show me what love really is.
What's mine will be his,
And what's his will be mine!
But please father, bless our love not to be blind.
Leave old lovers in the past.
Make his soft loving kisses last.
Have him tender, yet hands that are strong.
Let the joyful nights together be long.
Words of sweet compassion.
Oh, Of course have him in the latest fashion!
So what im saying as I wish into the night time sky,
Make him a true, one woman guy!

Misty...There may seem like there's no one exactly like that, but trust me, there's some that come very very very close.

NOT IN VAIN
If I can stop one heart from breaking
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life
from aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Into his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

Hey Misty,
I like your poem coz I can really realate to how you feel, there was a time when i thought that I'd never find that special someone, and I to prayed for someone to hold me,trust me and love me.
But somehow, my prayers were answered.

Keep it up!!

This is very true. Sometimes it seems that the perfect one isn't out there, but you just have to keep your chin up because you will meet at just the right time. Excellent poem.

Misty....it is a real thing, I have found my knight in shining armor....

Might I suggest don't make this your full time obsession, trust me, I've seen it ruin people.

In conclusion- May your prayers come true. When it happens you'll know, just LET it happen, don't try to force it. Good Luck!
