Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Hungry for attention she
opened up a can of worms
with pointed TMI.
The kind of information
that makes us uncomfortable
and embarrassed for the teller.
Too personal, too private
too real to hear.
As per request
she shared a piece of mind
distinctly hers.
She spoke of her dysfunction
like others complain
about the weather.
She shared what should have been secrets
kept to discretion.
She lay bare her innermost
and exposed herself to strangers.
She stood humble by her truth
and felt safe from humiliation
by her peers.
She was above
snarky remarks
from the jealous
and the petty.

What is going on in here Lori Lou?! TMI you say?!!!  lol  Yes well, I am sure there has been times we have all been guilty of that whether we like to admit it or not....Actually I find that people who are prone to TMI are most times looking for a little compassion and want to feel like they are cared about ~ Thanks for sharing ~ Alana

Well, Pinks LaRue,
ah...um...well...sometimes it gets complicated. So lets just say if this shoe doesn't fit, don't worry about it. I was feeling a bit defensive when I wrote this and that has nada to do with you. ~L
