I love you like the red maple tree
in autumn with foliage aflame.
I love you like a snowstorm
in winter with fat snowflakes.
I love you like a rainbow
in spring after a rain shower.
I love you like wild flowers
in summer blooming in the sun.
I love you like my favorite things
in all seasons of the year.
You fill my heart with pleasures,
gifting me with smiles.
Loving you I find treasures
on tropical isles.

reminds me of a Julie Andrews song..these are my favorite things. Lovely of you to have equated your love to the favorite things you see around you.

Thanks! I've known him for 30 years but we have only been married 10 years this morning. I was feeling extra sentimental today. ~L

At least you can say 'we took time to know one another before we jumped!' - unlike me an Terry who jumped then got to know each other once we cooled down a little - lol.
