          Dreams of Love

The mountain moon is my
    beacon
through this deep-forest night.
The trees in the mist are
from some nether-world.
These ancient ‘endless’ hills lie
just beyond the reach of Time
as does even the most fleeting
    thoughts
in this vanishing slice of pure
    wilderness freedom.
Here I taste only peaceful
tranquility and translucent
    moonlight
to rise again with the
Phoenix in fiery dreams
   of Love's perfection.
