Fair to middlin' of nowhere

What insecurity
So deep
So dark
So insidious
That it needs
To feed
On more
And more
Acts of sacrifice
So called proof
Of love and trust
To fill a bottomless
Blackheart
How could you
How dare you
Damn you
For choking out
My daughter
To prove to you
She trusted you
Enough
Not to kill her

Yes it is. it is also incomprehensible to me. At the moment Sad is not my emotion. I'm feeling pure unadulterated rage.  He could have killed her. I'm glad that relationship has been over for a while now. Too bad she will live with the scars forever. Too bad she didn't tell me about it until today.
