Noah and the fish

A fisher man waits
Lines carefully caste out
As dawn breaks the night

The bobbin dips
Ripples cascade from the line
Now the fight begins

One never knows what the day brings

Who thinks really deep thoughts
What's so amazing about really deep thoughts " Silent all these Years, Tori Amos

Beauty in your image and optimistic expectation blended metaphorically in your poetry.

I need to think about what I just said, taking care to avoid any hooks twirling about my head and shoulders.

Yes indeed, Juju, and a fight to the death is everything works out alright.

Nice poetry, the last line, profound, and it speaks to the best part of life...

Your poem is delightful Juju, though I know your efforts and they all are fine offerings.

The term 'deep thoughts' must appeal to you as I see you like Tori Amos's quote on your signature. Like many things given to the beholder, "deep" is a relative perception to me because I've never had anyone explain its meaning to me in terms of thought.

I recall heads using the term, but they were too stoned at the time to explain it. Its like Plato's plight. You just sit there and stare at it until you go over the deep end.

Deep end...?

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!
