      Spring Passing (#2)

Here in these ancient hills,
where rain, forest,
lake, mind, and time,
become one …
Spring is spinning
sunbeams, promises,
and fallen flowers,
into a finely etched dream-
tapestry of endless renewal,
eternal hope, lasting joy,
   and perfect love,
before simply moving on …
without a care!

What a lovely tapestry of dreams you have spun here, Bruce.

We often try to personify the seasons; but the truth of it, as you've shown here, is that they just ARE.  It is a grand solidarity, and comforting.

a finely etched dream-
tapestry of endless renewal,
eternal hope, lasting joy,
   and perfect love,

now that's wonderful, positive, alive poetry.
