It is a sad day, today.
The day when there is but one way.
When the only right way is our own way.
Who has the right to say
That there really is only one right way?
That there is only one way
To humble ourselves when we pray?
To live our lives straight or gay?
To live in a world of black and white,
Where there is no gray?
It is a sad day, today.
When the only right way is our own way.

Rachael,

Your poems seem so unhappy.  I hate them if they are a reflection on where you are mentally.  You have made some tough choices in your life and I know it has not been easy for you.  Yet, I'd love for you to seek, or share, some of the positives to write about now and then.  You worry, my girly.

Love,
Z

Z,
It's just one of my fits of depression. I'll be alright. I'll make sure I submit something happy when I find myself in that place again.
