I have that full moon feeling
a howling, full moon feeling
I feel like shaking my mental cage
getting into my wrath
challenging the psuedo night
and the unseen moon
calling forth a childhood
only to release it from my dark
let it die
and rot in its own manner
and try mightily
not to poke around in its bones

transparency

with transparency
you can't live in man-made shadows
life doesn't have
undo buttons
life, like art
is never, ever finished
only deserted for the time being
even in death something of us linger relentlessly
forever

trust

why do we lie
to make others trust us
we hide our true selves
in pursuit of intimacy
chasing happiness in sundry ways
that drive happiness away
and when we're wrong
we fight the hardest to prove we're right
and look stunned when our lies are outed

I've always pretty much been an open book, maybe too open and I just can't stand a liar and a deceiver

but I guess they are everywhere in life, including inside my house and in my bed

good writing, glad I had a few minutes to come here

Thank you, Dixie, for finding the time to stop by my place in the Blue Room, I do appreciate it. I've always maintained I was the most open, honest person in the world, to the point where I hurt people with my honesty. Even so, there were things I hid. I hope I have progressed to the point where I don't hide anything. Poetry has been responsible for this breakthrough. Thank you  again for being here.

I guess we all know them, Victoria, for quite honestly they are all around us, everywhere.

Yeah, I guess you could say that, Lori. Why hold back? You do the same when you're primed and ready.
