I thought I could rekindle
this friendship I screwed up
so long ago
Through a heart felt
apology

I guess forgiveness
was not in your heart
because you told me
you wanted nothing
to do with me anymore

Even after you told me that
I kept on trying to get
in your good graces
Then you told me to
leave you alone and
called me a stalker

That hurt me to my
very soul
but I refused to cry
This was nothing to
cry over
because I knew this
behavior oh so well

So I decided to
leave well enough
alone
Maybe they will come
to their senses
on their own

For now though
it is friendship lost
until they come to
their senses and
see how sincere
my apology was

Rejection always hurts and you say it clearly.
There are some people who have very difficult personalities, who do not allow rational mind exchange.

You hope that they will come "to their senses" ... say a prayer and be at peace.

Thank you for your comments!!! I felt bad for what I did 9 years ago. So I wanted to apologize and be friends. They wanted none of it. I even explained why I did what I did. So I am leaving it in God's hands. If we are meant to be friends again it will happen. If not, at least I know I apologized.
