Spring Rain

All day dark clouds gather
Surrounding on each side
A red warning goes out
But it is to the north

Two systems will converge
And they may be severe
Might bring hail and great winds
Could be a tornado

Ozone fills our nostrils
There’s dampness in the air
Even more clouds gather
Can this be the bad one

Strong winds are increasing
We start to feel the chill
We all say here it comes
Just a gentle Spring Rain

Yeah, but you can never be for certain, can you, Karen? I like your photo.

I like this very much. It reminds me somewhat of one of the reasons I love poetry so..

There is so much to take from this, and I am sure most everyone takes something a little different.

It's all a matter of perspective.. One mans floor, is another mans cieling.

One must learn to appreciate things for what they are, and what they may become. In doing so they will achieve a true happiness that resinates so deeply, it can be felt by those nearby, without a note spoken.

Thank you for sharing this lovely piece.

It's not easy being evil, in a world gone to hell.

I am glad you like it...life is so interesting and I think poets say it best...I love to read my own visions in others work...*HUGS*

I so miss the storms you have down east...these ones start out all right and then follow the river bottom...Taber is in this little pocket where all the really bad stuff goes around us...*sigh* again they are calling for a thunder storm...I can only hope and pray we get it here...strangest weather I have ever seen...*BIG HUGS*

I loved the poem and spring rain. I love it most when it brings out the plants inner beauty. No one knows what's to come, even so it's still magnificent when it rolls in. Simply enjoyed

There is something rewarding
to the senses, in a spring storm.
Enjoyed the read.
