They can see
Without really seeing
They can exist
Without really being
What would they do
If confronted by you?
Something only time could measure
No gold nor jewels in this treasure
And when I’m alone
Inside my mind,
Nothing transpires, nothing hurts

Inside my mind

A place to go
Without ever leaving
A faith somehow
Without even believing
My body wrecked and shattered
But none of this matters
There’s a garden where I go
In which the seeds of life grow
And when I’m alone
Inside my mind,
Nothing transpires, nothing hurts

Inside my mind

All through college I practiced TM and it sure worked to keep me grounded.  I can sure identify with this write, as I to this day, still can shut off the world and just drift into my mind.

Through it all, I find my mind to be my refuge, and you have articulated my own thoughts with such eloquence. ---Art
