Moonbeams fall from starry skies And settle down upon the flowing creek Not meaning to impress But only so that I could witness Nature at its best A moon in love with earth Reflecting on a the water’s crest Oh no, it’s not for love But for the love of life Moonlight has descended on a little brook’ To dance a dance With no intention of romance But only to ignite the magic Beauty of the night And form a memory in my eyes That will outlive these starry skies Perhaps the moon was never meant to dance But to reflect the movement of the stream And lingers there to light each rippled dream I cannot speak for moonbeams nor for little brooks but I can say without a doubt That God created Moonbeams and a little brook And blessed the two And I’m the one who is entranced By this magnificence - not you |

Oh how pretty is this!! I feel so grateful for everyday and all the gifts that the good Lord bestows upon us. I think it's an age thing, after weathering so many storms I've come to appreciate the stars in the sky, the sun shining high in the sky and all the beauty that surrounds us. Thanks for this, it's really lovely. |

Dearest Liz...I think you're right...the moon is there to light the meaning of the brook and the way you look. Love you!! |
