that still, small voice
inside me
saying "you will sin everyday
of your life"
reminds me there is
no escaping punishment
guilt leaves me longing
for the care-free days
of my youth
before i knew about sin
and the evil men can do

There must be a poem in here somewhere.

A well-written and interesting read.

I will comment, if I may do so germanely, that those Dr. Moody near-death experience survivor books popular a few decades ago are full of sinners who were evidently given the intro tour to Heaven, and only a few of them Hell, the latter from which they were shortly sent back because they, quote, "weren't cruel enough" (to merit such punishment). Interesting books, those.
