and there at thy western brim oh mead
where she tempts the long boats in their nodding
with the songs of her bronze sighed goddess

where metals of vikings become but shimmering
as her seething solutions silken them silent
when she steps from her altar gown of dawn

she leans down upon whiskey colored waters
and prays them into tormented waves of laughter
she bends them around her skin ends as toys

her eyes become as jade sided temptations
glancing at my mortality as it is risen
a sword without edges only intending submersion

within the sheath of her most lovely longing

___________

daark (forbidden series)

(And your initial response to my poem? LOL I'm just glad I wasn't drinking when I read it... my monitor didn't need a bath! LOL)

Ms suthern thanks lady, sometime an image just takes over my pen. As for the comment on your poem, it felt right at the time.  Coffee or coke or milk nose could have been poetic though.

I read the book.  I saw the movie.  And then along comes another chapter and another sequel.  And I am happy.
