To be in a body where mind rarely rests
Down corridors endless, through doors of unknown
Sleeping seems hopeless; the questions and tests
Thoughts ever scattered, as leaves that are blown

To think of the past and the future to be
Of present and moments that quickly pass by
To change ones opinion as age turns the key
And rids all the baggage while you wave goodbye

Today is a struggle but also my light
Though feeling quite tired tomorrow I see
A glimpse of a future that might suit me right
And armchair of comfort where quiet might be

My thoughts they are many, idle not be
I’ve so little answers to offer and give
But hoping tomorrow or day after see
The way to find peaceful and quietly live

I understamd the thought behind this. Rick.
We are all seeking the same thing, at some point, I guess.

Sometimes it seems the fewere the answers, the more the thoughts churn. *S* I hope you find that peace and quiet. *S*

Enjoyed the read!

"Sleeping seems hopeless; the questions and tests

we must be on the same wavelength of late, Rick.
