The sun awakes me in my bed,
Nightmares, shackles and all,
Are sent into netherworld,
The day makes me stand tall.

I've defeated most of my fears,
Tho I'm beseeched by night,
When bleak doors of evil swing wide,
And it's n'er a fair fight.

The sun is good, I strut my stuff,
And kill demons quite dead,
A gentle breeze blows from the south,
Storm coming neighbor said.

I have grown used to the thunder,
From south or inner soul,
The sky can warn us of dire straits,
But inner storms are cold.

I get through the day, nighttime comes,
I try to swallow fright,
Close all the drapes and lock the doors,
Hide myself for the night.

The wind blows hard, the storm is here,
My inner storm comes too.
Which is worse, which can hurt the most,
Outer blow or mammon's queue?

Really like this one Jerry.
Love the contrast from night to day as a comparison of inner feelings.

Good work my friend!

It is just like this, dear Jerry. And it is frightening .... that inner coldness. Good that the sun is always on time in the morning, so that we can align again to its healing energy!

Excellent work.

Love,
Margherita
