If to predilections you're disposed
I guess that makes you one of those
who's exhibiting a certain bent,
but don't go where my thoughts just went.

It's a situation I'll redress
though prurience I must confess
conspired to lead my mind askew
affecting how I picture you.

It's the public speakers' oldest trick
envision folks without a lick
of their clothing on to calm your nerves
exposing multitudes of curves!

But, before I take this thing too far
just let me say that as things are
all you non-believers who might scoff
had best make sure your web-cam's off!

Ida,
Thanks, just having a little fun on April Fools.
Doc

Mysteria,
Thank you. Actually, for me, the hard part is to not rhyme, I've tried, but the results
are usually horrendous. I envy some of the free stylers here who can pull it off without resorting to convention.

Rhyme is not that easy, and you write marvelous rhyming verse!  I enjoy it a lot, and love the levity, too.

I did it once but never since
Picturing the audience
Sitting there without a stitch
As I made my poetic pitch.

SInce they were in their seventies
Their skin moved like the rolling seas.
The wrinkles were like fields plowed
And made it hard to speak aloud!

Clothing covers many sins
Like cellulite and double chins.
If I could choose, I must confess
I'd rather see them fully dressed!!!

Klassy Lassy,
Thanks for the kind words, I guess it just comes naturally to me.
Doc

Eric,
Lol, kind of a spooky thought, having your monitor monitoring you.
Doc

Balladeer,
Lmao @ your poetic reply, yeah, not too sure I'd want to see my audience either.
