Crossing Idaho,
in a musical car,
saw nothing
except Boise
through fatigued windows,
no time for stopping,
where is my muse ?
Surely we missed Idaho.

I get the impression that you should have slowed down. I want to wave from outside saying "stop and enjoy and relax" ...

It must have been the music keeping you awake and inciting you to move ahead ...

In just a few words you have told quite the story, dear Yann, leaving room for thoughts!

Love it!

Love,
Margherita

I think you did miss it.  I have driven through part of it and it was beautiful.  Sounds like you were road-weary.  Love your poetry of this trip though.

Happy birthday.

thanks Margherita for the warm comment and the lovely words, yes indeed we were limited by time and have to go to San francisco to finish our trip...And I had the sensation of missing Idaho.
thanks again for the comment.

I love this little thought provoking ditty.
I'm sure you can go back one day and pick up where you left, but much is contained in a moment caught.  Happy birthday from me too
