Most are too busy to notice,
Too distracted, too focused,
too hurried

It has to be felt
to know it exist

and once it is felt...
it can be explored.

Just a slight alteration
A sudden shift

A subtle change
in equalibrium

A dizziness,
ever so faint

just a corner

just a curb

There is a vortex
in Hopewell Virginia

lingering

sustained

Upon feeling the shift...
the action was repeated

step up again
upon that curb

Like a whiff
of "Locker Room"

"What the HELL was THAT?"

Action repeated again

no denying

Gary made note
of his watch...

...watched the second hand...

...waited for it to reach the 12...

...step up on the curb...

...check the watch...

...3 seconds before the 12

Three seconds were lost

or...

three seconds were gained

It is no big deal

But...

as time passed...

Gary and I learned
some amazing things
by sitting on that curb.

Watch out for shape shifters and tricksters.
Subs should be OK
Three seconds might feel like an eternity,
depending on circumstances.
