like taking a stroll
in virtual words
wandering a line
in no hurry,
no apparent direction
following thoughts
roller-skating in "heards",
tripping lights fantastic
or dark's consuming flow,
wherever the thought may go
spirited free
and on going
threading between
dream fragments
future aspirations
and the dust of
everyday steps
along life's way
...rambles
giving chance,
dust to settle
amongst the cracks
preserving
before thinking
...again

"You don't have to go
You're the poetry man
You make things all rhyme" - P. Snow

I loved this way of rambling ... which becomes quite clear when the "dust settles".

Great imagery.

Yep, that is life, Craig.
You just have to learn to embrace the dust.

Really cool.

I was interested the entire time, didn't have to put any effort into finishing the poem.

Really cool.

Lol, .... I find the dust these days a bit choking!!

I appreciate everyone's reply, this is the centerpiece to another book of mine that should be out in the Fall, appropriatly titled "Rambling Man". It will be full of rambles, some shared here and others from depths of my locked chest. If you would like to know when it is released just clear the dust of me and let me know, lol!!
