Eh?
Were you
There with me
In my presence,
I, unknowingly,
of your distant essence?
Tribulations where exceed
my ability to cross fence;
While distressed by the future’s dress code,
Is it through you, my implosions let vent?

Are you the one who sifts smoke from heart’s sky,
Buckets the water,wagons the load,
Moving clouds for sun to commence?
Do you move about freely
in drive to dispense with
my tears discreetly,
granting presents?
Unknowing,
I’ve been.
Yes?

martinia,

Thanks for your generous comment!  I fess up.   This one I did try to do by form, then switched it out to become my own form!  I'm a non-traditionalist by nature, I suppose.  It was a real challenge for me and took me hours!     (Yesterday was the first time I've tried anything offered in the Poetry Workshop, finding I really enjoyed it )

It's difficult enough to do the first part ~ but to do the second half is even more arduous! Congrats! Ya done did good, girlfriend!

Stretching one's poetic wings and trying out new formats can be an enjoyable experience ~ and some times NOT! lol

Love to you!

The hardest part for me is vocabulary!  I just don't have an adequate understanding and recall of words!  Blah!  See what I mean?    Then, to fill in the blanks between rhyming words?  It's like doing a literary Suduko!  Yes, the task was arduous for me, but the outcome surprised me.  I like it.

You are so supportive, EA.  You don't know how I appreciate those fluttering wings of yours that bring you here!

hugs,

miscellanea

Arctic Wind,

You are far too kind in your flattery.  I'm embarrassed now...  Ah shucks, Arctic, feel free to embarrass me any time.  Thanks for sending your breeze my way.

Garapan,

First of all, I love your User Name! Next...  "Oh My Gumbo! Is that a valid phrase? Oh My Gumbo!"   If it isn't it should be cause it makes a person feel all warm inside, while simultaneous wetting an appetite for Gumbo!  Yum!

Thanks, Garapan, for your exuberant response!  Yum!
