still waters running deep
hiding the abundance
fast asleep
to awkward man's eyes

blue, beyond the deepest blue
shimmers silently, reflecting
the red dawn of setting suns
like a placid lake glimmering

glaring light shining
off the silver-like fish's
back of mirrored reflections...
seizing hopes, granting wishes

coins and flat rocks skipping
o'er the table of the floe
dreams hang on distances
breaking as to show

morning light in all its glory
sea-mists like drifts of virgin snow
heaping gently, breaking softly
against thee, o, setting sun's glow

the stirring shows the misting
as the lake to shore is glist'ning
