Silk Lady in Dancing Shoes

"Sometimes she
takes the time to
tell me she is mine,
melting into my arms,
giving away her charms."
Silk lady; as elusive as a
butterfly, as mysterious
as an Asian Princess,
I love you, I love you.
One sweet summer day
silk lady called me to
say, "Lets get away, I'll
meet you in the morning
in a Cafe they call
"Far Away" in Hong Kong."
I hadn't seen my silk lady
for awhile and I missed
her long silky hair
and her perfect smile,
so I said "Silk Lady
I Love you, I love you."
I took a redeye flight
and arriving early that night,
I checked into lodging
and hit the nightclubs
to do some dancing.
At midnight, when the clubs
were alive and jumping,
from across the dance floor
I spied the woman that
sets my heart thumping.
She wore a long red silky
dress, Chinese style, and
her long black silky hair
was making my heart smile.
She was wearing a mask
so I couldn't see, if
she was looking away
or looking at me.
Then she smiled,
and I knew, it
was my silk lady
in dancing shoes.
I crossed the dance floor
in a strutting motion,
my heart beating hard
and full of emotion.
We danced, we kissed,
we laughed and we played,
the Cafe in the morning
seemed so far away.
