.

Through fields of corn
A two lane road

Over a wide river
Past the still small town

Wood side houses
With high pitched
Tarpaper roofs

Love survived
The little corner store
All those bugs
Buzzing in the air

When one is young
And with his girl
It really doesn’t matter
Where they are

There’s always a way
Under that special star

To be together
In each other’s arms

.

I enjoyed the views ~ and the touching sentiments.

A love-ly penning.
