   Infinite Stardust dreams

Perhaps sunsets and Autumn
serve to deepen our sorrows
and yet purify the soul,
on such cool-bright moonlit
  nights…
following Summer’s footsteps
  into Fall,
as a billion mystic stars
are linked by endless mountains
to the pathless, untamed sea,
and painted across this
  crystalline cosmos
of infinite stardust-dreams
and Deep-Time’s memories!

The images Midnitesun quotes are the ones that also attract my attention first. It is said that the Native Americans thought heaven might be like Autumn. Your poem contains fine thoughts beautifully expressed.
