My Love, She seeks no glory light; her heart
Contains within a radiant glow, from where
The stars extract their own luminous chart;
She tiptoes star to star; her love grows bare
And naked for my eyes, unclothed of slant
Veneer and pretend face; her eyes convey
What lips cannot proclaim, and thus do plant
Onto my heart a lock of lasting stay.
But yet - She smiles and hides behind the moon;
A veiled mystique surrounds her, and so placed
Enfolds as perfect seal no magic rune
Nor potent spell reveal; no design traced:
And though her heart is mine - She keeps the veil;
Still - for her I drop my shield; shed the mail.

Your valiant vulnerability is very appealing, Sir Knight.

It is good to read you again, and with such a wonderful sonnet for our eyes to behold.  Nicely done.
