pre-dawn blackness
like a murky ink well
murmurs labyrinthine
passages through time
glowing like a digital clock
pinging against my door
like bullets
eventually making
soft soothing
harmonious noises
like a dim candlelight
flickering fluid gestures
of illumination
moving toward one
great expression
I wonder if God
paints the darkness of
time warps
dissimilar
so man cannot
venture in?

it swarmed around me, beautifully
sunken depths like endless eyes
searching for someone to read
pulling me with all of it’s might
I felt amusement,
at what I had forgotten
while this velveteen entity, sipped me
like a memory

every muscle in my body went hobbled
and I dove through the densely packed pitch

I felt someone drop to their knees beside me
sitting, bonelessly, their thoughts curling up
into my mind, then blown out and carried on
the wind…hugging my feelings as if they
had arms…

“it is the touch of people”, I realized,
in curious expression…
our mission and accomplished successes
digging into the soul of information
blurring minds of conditioning traditions
slowly, I was willing to let go of all I knew
and for a moment, no perhaps many
I became less and less fearful
of what I didn’t know, or understand

I crawled deeper and deeper
Deeper still
into the opening
where there was more and more a feeling
of homecoming….wild wings gazing at
faraway tomorrows…
burning the heart of darkness
nothing to fear,
it’s a spreading brilliance
of it’s own kind

The shades of darkness have their own comfort

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I think so.

LeeJ, this is awesome.  Felt like I was right there watching your discoveries.  Much, much enjoyed this, and saving it, too.  *hugs*....jo

Siyo LeeJ is it I wonder the discovery of self sends us into the wondering dark seeking the light of better ways?
