How do I know
she's sincere
when she wasn't
sincere before.

How do I know
she'll value me
more than she
did before.

Valid questions in this post. Only time can bear out whether someone's sincere or not. Once trust is broken it's difficult to muster up again.

A question to which I, alas, do know the answer.

But remember, there is also an answer deep within your own heart....and it can be any answer you want it to be. "Can" and "Do" are, after all, different things.
