Round and Round it Goes

Round and round the merry-go-round
Full of fury and full of sound
Full of magic and pantomime
Spinning the wheel chaos and time

Collecting realities seem
Potentially bricks of a dream
Paths that light the wick of our soul
And each life a flight to this goal

I see the lanterns in my sight
As many as stars that fill the night
They come and go fast and slow
Some would build and some would crow

Spinning the wheel chaos and time
Full of magic and pantomime
Full of fury and full of sound
Round and round the merry-go-round

Hello Sy!
Much enjoyed the write..
but, I kept thinking about the merry-go-round
and now I'm dizzy!
Have a great day!
& , Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

I printed this one for the girls Seymour as I am giving them a glass globe with a merry-go-round inside for one of their Easter gifts.  This being the second of your poems gifted to my two beautiful angels.

Have a wonderful day down there in that sunshine.

Hi Sy

Your amusement park sounds fun, but also very scary.

A fine 'write'!!.....

As a 'Universalist' (Complexity Scientist/Chaos Theorist)
and advocate of the "Deep-Time" paradigm (perspective),
I find the following particularly fine!:

"Spinning the wheel chaos and time
Full of magic and pantomime
Full of fury and full of sound
Round and round the merry-go-round"

Hi Seymour.  Your first quatrain was a feast in itself.  Excellent.
