Looking around trying to find
A little friend within my mind
This muse of mine has slipped away
Wandering where, I can not say

Hidden deep within somewhere
Not a morsel does he share
Creativity will not come
Brain disengaged, now feeling numb

Searching for this friend of mine
Knowing he'll return in time
And when he does, this I know
Words will come and pen will flow

Also thank you for the hugs Marge and Earth Angel. It's good to be back. Time just goes by so quickly and I didn't realize just how long it had been since I've been in here to take a peek.

I know the feeling well. I though mine had not only gone on sabbatical, but also moved out-of country. luckily, though, she came home ... and not a moment too soon!
