There’s Only Once!

There’s only once, then it’s gone
A second there, before the one
When it’s here, it’s the last
When it’s gone, part of the past.

A moment wasted, never to be
If you look back, you won’t see
A thing you could’ve, now you can’t
When it’s gone, a worthless rant.

If you wait, might be forever
And since yesterday, comes, never
A risk you take, if you don’t
When it’s gone, then it won’t.
