E.V.O.O.

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
...cataract on ciceronage...

...gushing over chips of gravel...

...art of apothecaries...

...begin to unravel...

...cisterns beacon like citadels...

...across the ever-flowing grass...

...where stones are made of iron...

...where valleys are emblazed in brass...
.
.
.
...votaries of Volubilis

vindemiate amidst vespiaries of villanelles

aromatic ancient alpenglow asperges Abruzzo,

auguring Aeolian aubades

ascultated among auricomous apiarists,

decanting,

effusing,

through valleys of Italian chamomile,

down the chatoyant cellars of Cephalonia,

and polyphonic, pollinated prairies of Palestine,

effervescent emerald echolalia,

simpering synaesthetic syllables,

amidst amphoras of ancient arteries,

titillating testaments to tardiloquous tabernacles,

in raw,

grassy,

peppery,

immaculacy...
.
.
.
.
.
anointing my anatomy,

of sun,

stone,

drought,

ailence,

and solitude,

of blood beaten for the light,

tracing in my veins:

"È la gaia pioggerella a far crescer l'erba bella."
.
.
.
.
.
cascading through capillaries,

on timeless ciceronage...
.
.
.
.
.
.

Well Noah, you certainly got my attentuion.

This is just a bit beyond me but I also didn't try that hard...
"effervescent emerald echolalia,

simpering synaesthetic syllables,

amidst amphoras of ancient arteries,

titillating testaments to tardiloquous tabernacles,"

You certainly have lots of creative talent.

I almost didn't read this. *S* Rachel Ray grates on my nerves worse than fingernails on a blackboard and I'd love to rip EVOO from her vocabulary! LOL

I'm glad I didn't let my prejudices make me miss your most excellent write! *S*

I simply enjoyed the way the words rolled off my tongue (not sure if I pronounced them all correctly) - and I was amazed at the talent that you show in this one piece.

Noah, such a keeper this one is.  I have it saved and will translate it later (grins).

Happy New Year.

Alison
