Dedicated to our beloved poet and friend, Marge Tindal...

Even through my own deluge of tears
I saw and felt the intensity of your pain.
So many tears, I felt we stood in icy pouring rain.
Pain pouring from your wounded heart,
your once comfortable world, suddenly ripped apart.
And you say you don't know which way to turn
to try to mend the deep tears of your soul,
So you reach for that elusive goal of peace
in solitude.
Not wanting anyone to try and comfort you.
The hurt is much too deep...
no hands could ever reach inside
where you believe you should hide
from the sight of daylight and sunshine.
And so you say you just want everyone to go away.
But I reached out and touched your hand anyway,
and felt a charge of energy so grand
it sent a spark of hope,
a glimpse of a new day on the horizon.
I held you close,
so you could scream.

Kacy, this is so very, very like both you and Marge - good, pure, powerful, striking, inspirational and absolutely beautiful within and without (yes, the poem, within  and without, too - the within being the content, and the without being the aesthetics and the art).  Thank you so much for this.  And what a wonderful, wonderful gift for our beloved Marge!  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The title itself was a 'hanky alert' ~ so I knew what I was going to be in for! ~ Emotionally, as well as poetically.

Kacy and Marge. Marge and Kacy. ~ Two divine poetesses ~ with each one radiating her own extraordinarily bright Light out into the world. You are both beloved members of our "Family of Friends".

Thank you for this.I think giving permission to show anger or helplessness at a time like this is sometimes needed. We can not be so strong all the time. We are but human. And Kacy, I touch your hand and give you that same permission. Stamp your feet, hit the wall or scream, throw away the pillow that holds it in and just bello once or twice.. I hear you, and I admire you. love to you both, late'

Your critique says to let you know if this  hits in the solar plexus.

It did.

Hugs to you, dear lady... YOU are in my prayers, too.

Yes, Martie...I do know you understand, and also know how deeply you care for our poet Marge.
I thank you always, for your kind words and thoughts for me as well.
Hope everyone is well and happy at your home.

Suthern, thank you...so very much for your reply, and your kind healing thoughts.
All of this positive healing energy does get through to the grateful recipients.
