From That Night Forth

I could not know that she'd
be there upon that night.
I knew not how much she would
please me and be such a delight.
Sliding in next to me
just to gain my attention,
rubbing off on me in
her beautiful presentation.

Before the evening was over
I touched her to make
sure that she was real,
and I kissed her just to
see how it would feel.

From that night forth this
woman was the healer of my soul
and the lover of my heart.
My beautiful lover,
my darling sweetheart.
