Twelve year old Bones
gets taken down
for prostitution.

The judge doesn’t give him
much of a chance
to present a case,
so he pleads guilty.

The state sends him off
to a camp that’s going
to show him the right way
to behave.

They give him a hoe,
and a bundle of pine tree shoots
to plant on a rich guy’s
property.

The rich guy gets
this work for free.

Bones pinches off the roots
before he plants them.

Those pine trees
aren’t going anywhere.

Bones is a little bitter.

Bobby

At tweleve years old I can't say as I blame him for being a little bitter.

However, having the insight into that sort of pay back at that age is evidence of his growing up way too fast because of circumstances.

I admire Bones.

Thanks Eric,

For your kind words on Bones.

You've nailed his thought pattern exactly.

Bones always was a good thinker.

Yo Bobby
I like the way you write and describe society and its flaws, always interesting.

Thanks Yann,

Bones and I are anxiously awaiting the next wave of world-wide social upheaval.  We’re going to make things better.

Man the barricades!

Bones has more right than anyone to be a little bitter.

A few barren pines is less than the vengeance he deserves.

Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told.

Thanks Bill,

I’m pleased that you approve of Bones horticultural methods while in his situation.  I agree.

Thanks Suncleaver,

I agree with you.  However, I'm sure Bones will get over some of his bitterness in time, a long time.
