Within the falling of rain

Candle burns the windowpane
Fury's weather, why remain?

I'd say well done, but I don't know if it is (I have no idea how to write a tanka!)    BUT, that's beside the point - I enjoyed it nontheless, challenge well met!

I'm a little confused now as to what the tanka form is, as I've seen so many different versions of it, lol.. So.. um.. what is it? I think I'm getting it mixed up with a cinquain.  
I'm not sure this would be one of your best Allan, there is nothing particularly WRONG with it, it's not bad, but it hasn't quite got that.. grab, that a lot of your poetry does..

Heh.. def. not your best, deary   But it was pretty cool nonetheless.  Nice images   I should write a tanka... but you know me a formats.  I like this one!
