The Croix (pronounced "crow") ------------------------- The hidden diamond I couldn't find. The angel sat at the table behind the column with me. Speaking of life's twisted reveries Wrapped inside complexity. Ready to read the mind's disease In a second's ease. The Croix The cure. I'm so unsure. My faith is gone Please right the wrong, Of this one fragment of dust Scarring the universe with lust. Alone We crawl upon this dying sphere That turns for me only when you're here. My body's diseased and needs your touch. My charred heart needs your love so much. But in the end you'll just laugh As you send the death-kiss fast. ------------------ Luke Cakalic |

so true so true, how is it that though we all preach of being together forever, forever turns out to only be a certain number of months or weeks, maybe if we arelucky years. One day we will all have the one who will stay with us for all eternity. Such a wonderful poem. ------------------ ~depression is not a sickness of the body or mind, but of the heart. When the heart feels alone and afraid~ Maitay Mirabel Litton |

All I can say is Wow...I loved this one too...do you have all your poetry together in one notebook? Have you ever considered getting them published? All of yours are deep and exceptional...glad I keep finding more to read! ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..."
