I decided to write alone and put them out of their misery LOL     So here goes, one of four parts I am putting together for you all to hopefully enjoy.

In the beginning some mice poet friends met
While posting their words in these pages of blue,
Different folks, with such different lives,
Their love of poetry, and fun became their very glue.

Now this is a new tale I was asked to tell
Of a mouse adventure with one HUGE surprise.
My Canadian journey went from the west to east,
To find something you had to see with your own eyes.

The first mouse I met was so sweet, and demure
Even though horrible heat blasted way over the top!
Still she smiled “that sweet smile,” from ear to ear,
While every 5 feet I yelled, “When’s our next water stop!”

After enjoying the silence, the trees, and birds all ‘round,
The countryside folks, and even the train whistle blowing at 11:11,
We planned, and planned, and we planned some more
For this vacation of fun was to take us up to heaven.

Adventure took hold and off we went,
A mysterious mouse being led quite astray.
With my questions galore, and Kit's patience abound,
We both headed for hell on a freeway that day.

"Which way do I turn," was Kit's favorite question,
With maps in hand numbering 1,003 ~
I am dyslexic, from way out west, and.
She leaves the directions to someone like me?

We finally landed by a park with rides galore,
Roller coasters by the dozens stretched up to the sky.
I looked at a few of them towering but still beckoning us,
With one question,“Hey Kit, does that thing there fly?”

For us one day was not nearly enough,
So we got that Pipp adrenalin pumping twice,
Then headed home – hot, sticky, but pumped,
To greet Miss Gypsy Mouse, the final missing “mice.”

I tell you this was the very first time in my life my bladder almost emptied due to a ride!  It was called, "The Bat," and don't go on it with a weak heart, or especially a weak bladder!  I loved it!  Kit and I did as many rides as two days would gift us in heat and humidity so bad we were just positively "glowing."

Night one was out about the town
Amidst the glitz and faire
We laughed and hugged on Clifton Hill
For we had lots to share

We made some plans for our first day.
I knew there’d be no rest.
We’d see the falls and rapids flow
Far overhead in crest.

Maid of the Mist, a must to see
Like cattle donned in blue,
We journeyed back behind the falls
In sunny rainbowed hue.

The butterflies gave quite a show
Just on the edge of town
Their habitat invited peace
With moments to sit down!!

We knew we’d seen magnificence,
Though once again at night,
We dined far up above the Falls
While fireworks took flight.

With traffic stopped for miles around
We hailed a taxicab.
An hour to go a mile or two
We racked up quite the tab.

The driver even tired of it
No matter what he’d try
Each car length brought us to a stop
He hopped out and said, “BYE!”

LOL, boy I still can't believe Sharon and I rode all those rides on what HAS to go on record as the hottest 2 days of the summer! With the humidity factor of 73% on day two, although the temperature was oh, only about 95 degrees, the weatherman registered that it "felt" like 110 degrees. That's about as close to melting as I've ever come or ever want to come, lol!

Nan, those butterfly pics are great! What I'd give to be back there, but this time with a comfy recliner and an iced tea smack dab in the middle! Sharon had a few land on her to boot! What a beautiful place.

I'll get some time to write this weekend. Work is calling for now!

Love you gals, and miss ya big time!

I think I hit an all time high tolerance of heat those two days, too hot for moi!  The butterfly museum is somewhere I could live permanently, and we also passed a fabulous Buddist Temple I felt called, so I went over to its calling to show you all.

Mysteria/Sharon...ya know, just last night I heard that a neighbor of ours is Buddist...and they are going to be conducting meetings.  She's a nurse, and she owns a duplex....they are not going to rent the other side out, much more, they've decided to bring in termonally ill patients and care for them....

Anyway, I'm thinking about attending some of their meetings, as I'm curious about the Buddists and deem them a very insightful group....

Did you learn anything about the religion?

well Lee J, I am a "sorta Buddist person" or at least I like to think I am.  To me it is not a religion but more a way of life, and living it.  Once you go to the meetings you will find out what its about.  Anything that betters the human spirit can't hurt.
