Dark side of the Moon.

                    "If"

If I held you in my arms,
        enclosed in warm embrace,
would you give your loving charms
                so freely and with grace?

If I kissed your supple lips,
and pressed your soul to mine,
would your mind reel from the sips
                of fine full bodied wine?

If I dared then to inhale,
        and stole your breath away,
would you cling to me so frail,
                and promise you would stay?

If I whispered your sweet name,
and sent it on the wind,
would your heart melt from the flame,
                and passion once again?
            again... and again... and again

.

....yes.

Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...and again.

.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

Thank you dear poets for your encouragement. Your joyous response glows in a reflection that transcends and warms my soul.

Nancy,Hope,TD, Sunshine, Lady, RDB.... you said the magic word. Now cross the line to my side.

Janette... so wonderful to see you read me. I have missed you, your work and your marvelous reactions. It is a pleasure to 'melt' you, Milady.
