Please daddy
I don’t want to go to school today
Some bad man
Has taken all my friends away

Hey! Mom
Where’s Dads gun
I am not
Going to school today unarmed
Because of what this nation has become

What are schools teaching our children? Or do parents shirk there responsibilities?

Yes, the world has changed and there must be a reason why for the worse and not for the better.  I just can't figure it out though - perhaps it's a secret!

in answer to your question, I believe a bit of both...

yes indeed, a very different world....so much violence...so much saddness...and yet we look to the heaven's for strength, hope, faith and the ability to turn things around.

Keep on penning
