It takes

the slightest touch
silken slide
of ebb and flow glide
upon my skin
tender stepping
and feeling freedom
for my soul

It is

the softest whispering
of familiarity
the scent of comfort
in every breath
at the edge of giants
welcoming me
home

Beautiful Sue!
Your writing is like a breath of fresh air.
Just lovely!

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

I really like this Susanofer! It breathes and hints at more than I think you were directly aiming for... accompanied with the picture (by the way, can you hook me up with the girl in the pic??? zowie! ) I was minded of the giant that is the ocean and how, everytime I look at it, it makes me feel so small.

This is another great by the all-mighty Susanofer! May your house be warm and the snow melt soon.

The edge of giants...

I like that, and this poem very much. Sometimes a little contemplation is necessary to put things in perspective. We are, afterall, just a small piece of a larger schemata.

Well done, lovie.

Since I am always brutally honest
Those giants become matchsticks,
dwindling with the missing of you,
even with their view of the wonderful
Pacific, SEA.

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
