Somewhere in the wonderful
the weird holds sway on mind
and tilts perceived stability
off center from the core
but it’s just a merry maypole
swinging mystery around
until I’ve grown accustomed
to being dizzy on the ground.

Oh, the ribbons flutter
in this breeze of nothing seen
and the flowers open
like a mind it seems to me
to lap up holy sunshine
as a safety measure, see?

The music of a heart
holds a beat only in part
for the drum and strum of needs
has me dancing round the truth
and the “I do not want to”
like a whisper no one hears.

But somewhere in the wonderful
when weary is the weird
the merry month of May
in its celebratory way
will sing and swing the probable
into the cannot be
and leave by the back door
like a thief with my belief.

And peace like an offering
will lie just out of reach
for those who dance, dance, dance,
around the ... censored ... truth!

Oh this was a journey not to be missed. It brought back memories of maypoles and life growing deep waiting to spring into being.

PEACE is in the clouds...
Soon, real soon.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments.  If I had my way, LeeJ, I'd have it all now but such is the way of life that it makes one wait ... and wait and wait!

The wierd often has a way of becoming the real.

Thanks vandana for the read.

tp - if my weird ever became real, it would be true to say that I would be happy, very happy!  Thank you for reading.
