Forever Heard!

There she stands in the first golden light arms raised high and
proud,to Creator her voice is lifting in praise and thankfulness for
the life she was given.
My heart beats with the small drum grandfather is playing my
whole spirit swells within me,I can not put to words the feeling that
fills my being.
Tears streak my face though tired and hungry and still running,we
are never beaten our thanks rises with the smoke into Father Sky each
morning of our lives.
Proud I am to be Tsalagi my brown skin a reminder of the
blessings Creator gave to me,connected to my Mother Earth forever
this can not be stolen.
Sing children says grandmother let them see though we die
today, our bodies in the dust our hearts are not afraid this they will
never take from us.
Our battle cry rings from the very heavens into the last fight we
go everyone of us,smiling as we go children falling covered in the
blood gifted from our ancestors.
They do not understand and they never will,we would rather be
free and proud in death than be another conquered cattle for their
pens and cages.
Lift your voices as you run smile, laugh through the pain, see the
fear in their faces as we meet sweet death from their blades and
bullets.
What kind of people are these they say who laugh death in the
face,we have sung our death songs our road is well traveled, Grandmother
shines on us, today is a good day to die.
When the dust has cleared and the blood red sun is setting it is
done, the children lie upon the breast of Mother Earth all breath is
stilled yet still our voices will be forever heard on Turtle Island.
Everytime the drum is played or the flute goes crying the voices
of the People speak in the hearts of our grandchildren!!

As told to my grandmother by her own,oh,so long ago!

"the children lie upon the breast of Mother Earth"

and so it is, in all too many places.

Your words mean much to many.

Siyo Time Prophet,my heart cries for every child of every Nation who lives without. So many walk this our Mother Earth in great need of basic thing of life, and the few, they have everything and value nothing!

Sigi Scorpio and in truth my prayers rise at the dawning of every new day, upon the sage they whisper to the Four Winds that one day we learn to love and care for each other no matter Nation, skin color,or Religion we claim to hold!We are all kin/A wen'sa Unaliyi!
