This perplexing world,
How do we know who we really are within its labyrinth of knowledge?
How can we define what is right and wrong?
With moral judgement?
Or a difference of opinion?

‘This is my Quest, to Follow that Star, no matter how Hopeless, no matter how Far’

What can I do with the weight of the world crushing my shoulders?
I see the pain, the anguish, the corruption and the grief.
Though I could not see the pig-headed ness…

The perplexity of this mirror image I see within myself,
Curled in a corner as the sky above bellows out.
The remorse, the hatred and the tears that never came break the shoulders holding up my world.
From hyper to horror, this is the effect of what I re-live every single day.

The joyous perk up of the eyes that keep me alive, and the smile that sends shivers down my spine fades as the moment passes.
I think of her unyielding beauty, and what, at that moment, I am missing,
And the lucky person, who can call her their own…
This is the first poem that i've done in a while, i hope you like it
