Rewrite

How to Paint

Sink into the thing you see
Make it all a part of three
Search the length and breathe of it
It’s inner core, its sense of fit

Breathe its very dense of breath
Feel its awe and sense of death
Blend into its ring and chime
How it deals its part in time

Grow with it till full in grace
Take its stand in common place
Nourish on the inner glow
Reap the essence you must know

Live with it a one on one
Stay with it till you are done
Then take a brush in faint and
Paint and paint and paint and paint

Till you see its spirits goal
It’s than you’ve painted its soul

very, very nice!

I particularly liked:

"Breathe its very dense of breath
Feel its awe and sense of death
Blend into its ring and chime
How it deals its part in time"

Reading this 're-write' certainly
'picked up' my morning!

Applause!

nod....

if this is my answer, I will pray for humility.

Consider this, that I've knocked twice.

and I do not give up easily.

I want to be better before I die.

keep telling what you know

Thank you so much for your wonderful answer.

To be better you would have to be an angel.
Not that you don't have some of their qualities but I really like you as you are.

Very nicely done Sy!
I would stay and chat but I have a nasty cold.
I'm off to curl up with a hot cup of tea.
