A daughter once lost to the ways of the world
when shame and denial ruled everyone’s lives
now found and embraced as a babe from the womb
and the forty year gap as if it was not.

There is happiness, laughter, guilt, and remorse,
for a mother who birthed and then turned away
but the child now a woman found a good home
and learnt how to love the known and unknown.

Love played its part and joined those apart
and time on the sidelines the trigger and spur
for right and good timing a vital component
in the making of large and small miracles.

I know and I say there’s no need for touch
when spirits aligned share essential love
but, oh, when it comes the heavens rejoice
the immense outreach of this one miracle.

I am the mother complete now at last
but the woman, the lover, in a wilderness fasts
until time is of mind to rekindle love
and believe, believe, in the miracle, me!

Helen / 27 December 2006

(My daughter and I were re-united on the
6 December 2006.  My words just cannot do
justice to this happening but what a joyous
time it has been)

Helen, it is amazing how you find such positive energy in all the bad you've experienced in life...realizing, it was your destiny, and has made you the powerful woman you are today...in the end, if we work very hard, I believe our dreams eventually shower us with many smiles.

I am going to toast to you New Years Eve, for you've certainly been a true inspiration.

Love

Thank you Maureen and Roniece and, yes, I most certainly will enjoy the times ahead.

LeeJ - Thank you!  Sometimes not such positive energy but what I believe always, always, pushes its way up from negativity because, if we can't believe in our dreams, there's absolutely no chance of a miracle.  This miracle took 40 years so I know all about "waiting" and wait I will for the next one.

Helen....Words so often can, but when they can't, those are the deep times.  I'm happy for you.
