Believing In Dreams

I believed that I
could love her,
and she gave me
that chance.

She spoke of sharing
time together,
she talked about the
thrill of romance.

Time has come and
gone for us,
to bring us
together again,
the way we talk,
laugh and smile,
we have grown into
treasured friends.

The words in a
favorite song of mine,
says that "dreams come true."
This time I sing along
believing that they
really do.
