In A Melancholic Dream

Engraved actions take the place of a cold year,
Deception and sorrow are painted like fluid masterpieces,
Upon the mind of the young and innocent girl

The lucidity of the untainted mind bears witness to madness,
When winds whisper the words of betrayal into her pale ears
Chaos,
like a shadow without an owner
or a tombstone with a name

The question of why lingers around her,
Hearts, Minds, Bodies, Souls...
Decieved in trickery, or just honesty, or confusion

I lay awake, in a senseless wonder,
This deception that may lay within me...
Waiting to attack yet again on the unsuspecting
It lays in wait, deep inside...
Suppressing the feelings of self loathing,
Until life spirals out of control
